Glyn Williams bassoon
Glyn was born in Pandy Tudur, North Wales and studied bassoon and piano as joint first studies at the Royal Academy of Music. His Bassoon teachers were Gwydion Brooke, Ronald Waller and Michael Chapman and his Piano teachers included Philip Martin and Peter Uppard.

Glyn has played extensively in the U.K. and abroad with chamber ensembles including Harlequin and orchestras such as the BBC Symphony, London Symphony and The Philharmonia. In addition, he has made a number of appearances as a concerto soloist and has taught music widely in southern England. For over a decade he has been a tutor at Canford Summer School of Music and is based currently in Oxfordshire at several prestigious schools including Radley College, Abingdon and St Edwards School, Oxford. He plays baritone saxophone in several saxophone quartets and in big bands.

Glyn is qualified as a teacher of the Alexander Technique (MSTAT) and of T'ai Chi Chuan and Chi Kung (see Glyn's web site. Glyn has appeared in radio and TV programmes in relation to all aspects of his work and has produced videos specialising in Chinese health exercises.
